One area I have been thinking about as we have time to focus more on family (being we are huddled together) is taking a look at search behavior in the UK around one vertical that seems to be seeing an increase in search spend— Hobbies and Leisure - Photo and Video Category.
Below is a look at the percentage of ad spend increase in the UK:
Shutterstock (+37%)
Boots Photo (+81%)
Optimal Print (+157%)
Jessops (+123%)
GoPro (+87%)
Voxi (+136%)
Hello Canvas (+28%)
In the US, the data is very similar:
Easy Canvas Prints (+41%) Shutterfly (+13%) Canvasdiscount.com (+96%) Canvasworld.com (+61%)
Google Shopping:
With Google launching free shopping listings, here's an interesting article on what it will take for Google to truly compete with Amazon.
We will keep looking for positive signs in the spending markets and providing the data.
As always, if you would like to take a closer look for your brand, reach out, and we will get you some data.
