The Search Monitor is pleased to announce enhancements to AI Overview Monitoring within SEM Insights, providing marketers with new ways to measure visibility in AI-powered search experiences.
As AI-generated search results continue to evolve, brands need greater insight into how they appear in AI-generated content and how their visibility compares to competitors.
New AI Overview Monitoring Features
The latest release includes several new reporting capabilities designed to help marketers understand and measure their presence in AI-generated search results.
Searchable AI Content and Citations
Users can now search AI-generated content and review the citations used to generate results on Google and Bing. This makes it easier to understand which websites AI engines reference and how your brand is represented in AI-generated responses.
Citation Rankings and Share of Visibility
Monitor citation rankings for your tracked keywords and measure citation share over time. New reports help identify which brands, publishers, and competitors are receiving visibility within AI-generated search experiences.
SERP Visibility Scores
The Search Monitor now provides a SERP Visibility Score for each website cited in AI Overviews and AI Copilot. This metric helps marketers understand the relative visibility of cited domains and benchmark performance against competitors.
AI Visibility Trending
Track AI visibility trends by keyword for both SEO and paid search. Monitor changes over time and understand how AI-generated search experiences impact overall search visibility.
AI Max Monitoring
Coming soon: The Search Monitor will introduce AI Max Monitoring, providing visibility into paid ads shown within AI-generated content.
AI Max Monitoring will allow marketers to:
- Monitor and report on AI Max ads
- Track ad rank and market share
- Identify brand abuse and unauthorized brand usage
- Monitor competitor activity
- Monitor affiliate activity within AI-generated search experiences
Accessing the New Reports
All AI Overview reports can be accessed via the new AI Overviews FAQ menu in SEM Insights.
These enhancements provide marketers with the data needed to measure AI visibility, understand citation performance, benchmark competitors, and prepare for the continued growth of AI-powered search.
