Sales Development Representative (SDR)

We are looking for a high-energy, driven professional with an understanding of the digital marketing landscape and natural sales instincts to be our next Sales Development Representative (SDR). The SDR will focus on educating prospects about the Search Monitor ad monitoring platform , qualifying opportunities, and scheduling meetings for the Sales team.


  • Manage and qualify leads
  • Contact prospects via phone/email asking pertinent questions, listening and qualifying opportunities
  • Provide accurate product information and solutions based upon prospect use cases
  • Schedule meetings between the qualified prospects and an Account Executive
  • Updating Salesforce to ensure the team is working with consistent and accurate information


  • 1-2 years relevant work experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills are required
  • Experience with the Salesforce platform is preferred, but not required
  • Confident and professional phone presence
  • Competitive nature / motivated to achieve goals

Account Executive (remote)


This Sales position is for an Account Executive that has experience with channel sales, networking, and aggressively building a pipeline with brand advertisers and internet agencies.

This will be a “hunter” position responsible for identifying, persuading and closing sales opportunities.

You know you are a contender if you have a passion for online advertising and are a savvy user of social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and/or Linkedin.

  • BA/BS Required: Marketing/ Business Administration preferred

Market Research Analyst

The Search Monitor is seeking a Market Research Analyst for search engine analytics.

The Market Research Analyst’s primary role is to transform insights from paid and organic search data into recommendations and results in the form of narrations including charts and brief stories.  The ideal candidate will be capable of identifying competitive opportunities and threats from disparate data sources.   This role will support the sales team and will report into the VP of Sales.


  • Access and compile large volumes of custom data from The Search Monitor’s platform.
  • Research a list of advertisers to identify competitive threats and opportunities and turn these findings into custom narrations for each advertiser including brief stories and charts.
  • Communicate findings to each advertiser via email which will entail working with the sales team to identify key contacts.
  • Summarize findings into weekly briefs submitted to the sales team.
  • Recommend product enhancements to the product team to assist with speed and efficiency of analysis.


  • Prior work as a market researcher, business analyst, or data analyst for an SEM agency or as part of an in-house search marketing team.
  • Experience producing visuals (charts and graphs) and summarizing statistics into digestible formats for business users.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate findings to business users.
  • Background in processing and analyzing information using statistics is desired.
  • Proficient in excel.
